I had nearly given up on finding good sushi in the area, but Misaki is fantastic and very reasonable. Lunch with salad, miso soup, and three rolls for about $13. You can't beat that.
Fresh fish!! Loved the Port Charolette roll handsome boy roll. Also had peppered tuna, salmon, tuna nigiri. Service was great!!! Very clean. Shirley even gave me an extra peppered tuna nigiri to test out. I'll be back
This restaurant is very good. Their food, especially their sushi, is excellent. The quality is always good, and their fish is delicious and fresh. The people who run Misaki are the best! They remember and greet the customers like family. One our favorite places in all of charlotte county.
upon entry we were greeted and seated almost immediately, they were busy and almost every table was taken. we got the boat and a roll on the side. service was excellent, food came out quickly and was good, the only reason i gave a 4 instead of a 5 was because the color of the tuna was a little darker than what i like. I do have to mention again the service, it was amazing. Kay took really good care of us.
Favorite sushi spot in Port Charlotte/Punta Gorda. They are consistent in quality, portion and tastes so fresh. We love to go for their lunch special; 3 rolls with soup and salad! :)
Every time I'm home visiting Punta Gorda we stop in at Misaki because they have the best sushi! The fish is high quality. The servers are always prompt and friendly with great recommendations. They also go above and beyond with how they present the sushi! Last time they brought it to us in a wooden boat with flowers. It was so pretty.
I found this location on Yelp, like I do most food places. And it is in a shopping center but was still very nice little place. It wasn't a large place, but very clean and nice looking. The service was impeccable. We even just asked for the waitress to suggest our dinner. We got and appetizer and 3 rolls. All I can say is this has to be the best Maki rolls I have ever had. We also got the mango sakitini which was super yummy. I would come back here again and will when I am back in town. 10 out of 10 for the service and food.
This is the best sushi in the area, hands down! So I literally just wait here back to back because the first time I came in and sampled everything it was so great I just had to bring my fiancé back! The ingredients are very fresh, I had the chicken gyoza and crazy tuna roll plus edamame. Brought the fiancé back and we had a whole feast. Started off with hot sake, some tuna tataki and 4 rolls. Again everything so fresh and so flavorful! The service was great both times as well, fast service and very friendly. Love the atmosphere, very clean and good energy. Highly recommend, will absolutely make this my main spot.
Delicious! This was exactly the type of Japanese spot we were looking for -- traditional, authentic. We noticed all of the servers helped each other. For instance, one server took our drink order, another came over to take our food order and a third person noticed I had finished my soda and asked if she could refill it. Great service and camaraderie, it's nice to see. The server helped me order gluten free items. Everything was fresh and delicious. A great experience and wonderful establishment!
